How I achieved the look
How I achieved the look of my table of contents was by taking a template from canva and edited it to my style. I uploaded pictures of myself in a formal look to go along with the cover and edited the font style to math. For the font style I changed it arapey for a more dignified and colored it a turquoise for a lighter tone. The layout was setup so the images were aligned with each other on the left side, while the tile "Table of contents" along with some blank text was set on the right side of the page.

First thoughts on House Style
What is House style?
House style is the various tools and methods companies will use to enhance the quality of their magazine covers.
Reflect on the idea of each magazine having a House Style.
Each magazine having its own unique house style is important because it gives the magazine cover its own identity and makes them more distinct from other magazine covers.
How do you think House Styles are developed?
House styles are developed using various techniques such as color pallet, fonts and typography, margins and white space, and graphics and logo's.
Why do you think House Styles are used?
House style is used to enhance a brands image and to grab a person't attention
How might House Styles be influenced by their genre of magazine?
If the magazine were one that focused on beauty, the house style would be used to draw attention to the mode's appearance. Where as, if the magazine was one that was news focused, the font would be large to enhance a headline.
Has this idea of House Styles changed the way you look at magazines?
Now knowing the amount of effort and the different techniques that hose style utilize's, my understanding and appreciation of magazines has grown.
